Sunset on the Season – A Triumph in Endurance Racing

As the sun sets on an exhilarating season, we can’t help but look back on the incredible journey undertaken by Simon Clark Racing in-conjunction with Form Evo, Fusion IT, Expedite Law and the other sponsors. This season has been nothing short of extraordinary, marked by triumphant victories, daunting challenges, and unwavering support from fans and partners. It is a story of determination, resilience, and the unbreakable bond of a dedicated team.

The final race at Donington was nothing short of spectacular. Simon left no room for doubt by securing the double class win, with his team taking 2nd and 3rd places overall. These achievements, along with a perfect season tally of 8 class wins from 8 race starts and 5 outright podium finishes, signify the culmination of an outstanding campaign.

The journey through a first season of endurance racing has been a rollercoaster ride. Simon Clark Racing encountered numerous challenges, both on and off the circuit, yet they’ve consistently risen to the occasion. The spirit of the team has shone through, as they’ve managed to punch well above their weight, maintaining the Porsche 997’s presence at the sharp end of a national championship that’s largely dominated by factory-built and professionally prepared race cars – a feat that not many teams can claim.

The events have not only been about racing. They have also been about forming connections and creating memories. We’ve been thrilled to welcome record numbers of guests to our events, and the growing interest in the sponsors FormEvo, Expedite Law, Fusion IT Management Ltd and Enabl AI has been a testament to the strength of the collaboration.

It’s important to remember that while the spotlight may often fall on the driver taking the chequered flags and trophies, the victories celebrated this season are the result of an enormous team effort. From the meticulous preparation of the car to the seamless execution of event management, it has been a great ride!
